Beans & Bagels is an independent business, located in the Lincoln Square and Ravenswood neighborhoods of Chicago, Illinois. We have evolved from the world of 90’s coffee culture into a café serving a unique combination of specialty coffee and house made food. We have developed a dedicated multi-roaster coffee program featuring coffees from 49th Parallel, Kickapoo, PT’s, Anodyne, and Onyx Coffee Lab. Our food program solidly emphasizes locally sourced, organic, and seasonal ingredients prepared in house with appropriate coffee pairings.
And, this is our 26th year of business!!!
We are unique, community-orientated, environmentally-minded and quirky place that is dedicated to baking fine viennoiserie, preparing good food and quality coffee, and making the world a bit better day-by-day. Limiting waste in the kitchen and creatively reusing ingredients is an important part of what we do. We are a business committed to sustainability and hope to one day become a zero waste business (we are soooo very close). Two years ago we received a 3-star rating from the Green Restaurant Association, and this year we hope to make significant steps towards a fourth star.
