Nossa Familia Coffee’s Seven Corners Cafe opened in August 2018 in Portland’s historic Ladd’s Addition neighborhood. It occupies the ground floor of the Seven Corners Collaborative, a nonprofit hub providing crucial disability services under one roof. The cafe’s design incorporates universal design and accessibility principles, inspired by the blue, white, and terracotta farmhouses of our founder’s family coffee farms in Brazil. We have also set goals for being Zero Waste.

Our Seven Corners Cafe draws its aesthetic inspiration from Fazenda Recreio, our family’s coffee farm in Brazil. The space features accents such as reclaimed wood paneling and tabletops from Viridian Hardwoods and The Joinery, handmade ceramic mugs, custom terracotta pendant lighting, and Portuguese-Brazilian patterned tiles in shades of blue.

Enjoy expertly crafted coffee and signature espresso drinks like our B-Sting latte and spicy Mocha Fogo. We proudly serve freshly roasted beans from our family’s coffee farms in Brazil, along with unique blends and single-origin microlots from Central and South America. Our giveback coffees support nonprofits dedicated to making the world a better place. Indulge in a variety of sweet and savory pastries, including our must-try cheesy waffles inspired by Brazilian cheese bread (Pão de Queijo). Plus, you can take our freshly roasted coffees home by the bag.

Nossa Familia Coffee, founded by Augusto Carneiro, has deep roots in Brazil, where his family has been growing coffee since the 1890s. Recognized as one of Portland’s top coffee roasters, Nossa Familia is Oregon’s first B Corp Certified roaster, reflecting our commitment to sustainability. We work directly with farmers worldwide to source high-quality specialty coffee from Brazil, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Peru, Ethiopia, and beyond. Nossa Familia supplies beans and equipment to cafés, restaurants, hotels, and offices across the Pacific Northwest, including our own self-operated cafés.
