Gatehouse to the City. Fort Mason has a storied history as San Francisco’s nautical crossroad. Likewise, our cafe has become a bustling gateway for travelers and passersby en route to San Francisco’s most iconic landmarks. The big red one included.

In a previous life, our Fort Mason Cafe served as the gatehouse of this former military base. Historic Mission-style architecture remains and outdoor seating grants coffee drinkers grand views of the San Francisco Bay and the Golden Gate Bridge.
