In the 70s, a handful of inventive cyclists began modifying road bikes to traverse Mt. Tam’s trails. Thus, mountain biking was born. Our Larkspur cafe is a tribute to those two-wheeled pioneers and the terrain they endeavored to conquer.

A handcrafted topographical map adorns the walls of the cafe featuring Mt. Tam’s most popular bike trails and points of interest. Riders can warm up with an espresso while they plan their ride or savor a hard-earned croissant as they look back on it.
