We’re excited to bring something fresh to Rockaway Beach. We chose this area because we have been vacationers here and we see a need for a business like ours. We are creating a thoughtful space that will deliver loads of quality coffee and tasty treats all year long to residents and tourists.

At the same time, we are creating a local gathering space for our community that will be open all year long. Read on to learn more about us and our roadmap to delivering a Rockaway Beach brand that can amass a global following! (with your help)

For us, this is more than a place to serve coffee. Our brand is about education, fair trade, quality, and worthy experiences.

We start by caring about where our products come from and how those sellers are treated. We are proud to be serving Oregon’s Stumptown Coffee as our main supplier. They are the largest direct trade brand in the business, with good reason. They created it, and many like us see the value it brings directly to the farmer who worked hard to grow these excellent beans.

Direct trade is a term used by coffee roasters who buy straight from the growers, cutting out both the traditional middleman buyers and sellers and also the organizations that control certifications such as Fair Trade and Bird Friendly, for example.
At the same time, we love to experiment with small-batch roasting of our own and we want to feature some direct trade coffee brands from other parts of the country that we love. We think you will too, and we’ll be sure to ask!
