Salt City Coffee is a family-owned coffee company that was established as a stand-alone cafe in 2017 and has since expanded to 4 locations. Since the beginning, our mission has been to serve the community of Syracuse & share our coffee in a meaningful way. Our original location at 509 W. Onondaga St., which also currently houses our roastery, is a restored historic mansion built in 1860’s. It sits at the intersection of Syracuse’s west and south sides, providing multiple neighborhoods with a cozy, quiet, nostalgic meeting place with that classic coffee house feel. Something we often find ourselves saying to describe our journey & growth is “the little cafe that could”. From starting with driving 12-hours round trip to get our green coffee, to having 50+ employees across 4 locations, our story is one we want to share with you.
