The Boy & The Bear is a coffee roasting company with six cafés across Los Angeles. Gardena is home to our headquarters, where roasting, production, and warehouse operations take place, with a front café open to guests. The café serves espresso drinks, pour overs, matcha, fresh pastries, and a small food menu centered around sourdough toasts.
About Us
The Boy & The Bear began in 2012 as a pop-up in Villavicencio, Colombia. From the beginning, we set out to build close relationships with coffee farmers and importers so we could better honor the work behind each coffee and prepare and serve it with care and respect for its origin. That same perspective continues to guide our work today. We focus on coffee quality, genuine hospitality, and spaces where people enjoy spending time.
