Gray Squirrel Coffee Co. is a small-batch specialty coffee roaster, espresso bar, and bakery in Carrboro, NC. We like to keep things simple: roasting in small batches with care to bring out the best in the coffee, crafting exceptional drinks and treats, and focusing on developing great relationships with our customers and community partners.

Working with our importer partners, we are able to source the highest quality green coffee beans while also empowering farmers with fair pricing and long-term business relationships. We are meticulous about cupping and roasting in small batches so that we are able to give each green coffee a customized roast profile that draws out the best flavor and aroma for the bean.

Our beans are available by the pound online and in our Carrboro shop, where we also offer finely crafted espresso drinks, drip coffee, tea, and a selection of house-made baked goods. You’ll also find home brewing supplies, Gray Squirrel merchandise, and a bunch of folks who would love to talk coffee with you. We are proud to be an Orange County Living Wage employer.
