Windmill Coffee Roasters was founded in 2018 in Ames, Iowa. Although the roastery is new, the 3 person crew has decades of experience both on the west coast and midwest.

Operating as a wholesale company, they want to offer support to their community through training, maintenance, repair, consultation, and a space for coffee professionals.

Their goal is to build year after year relationships with producers, importers, partners, and consumers. By fostering a desire to learn, pursuing ethical buying practices, and offering the best coffee they can find they hope to help build specialty coffee throughout Iowa and the midwest.
